Beautiful scenery, lovely clean spacious site...
Arrived early, wasn't a problem, owners were very nice, explained where our pitch was, where hookup, toilets, showers were. Lovely countryside views from every angle. Facilities were clean and tidy. Plenty of space between pitches. Thank you for a lovely weekend stop-over.
A1 Campsite...
We only stopped a few nights but would have loved to stay longer as the owners were very friendly and were doing a barbeque on the following bank holiday weekend, and gave us information on the best places to eat, and best pub to visit. The lovely flat pitches meant we had a great peaceful night sleep surrounded by beautiful scenery and clear starry sky’s. Our only regret was not getting chance to say goodbye before we packed up camp. But we will definitely be visiting again.
We have had a great weekend....
We have just returned from this site, and we have had a great weekend. The pitches are spacious and lovely views. The field is flat and grass kept short. The surrounding area is great for waking (We walked to the source of the river seven)which was lovely and there is wheelchair access along the river. In the village there are two pubs, a spar and fish and chip shop. The chippy closed at 9pm though! The beach is only a 40 minute drive away and Newtown 10 minute drive. Overall this was a good site and would go back again.
The owners were very friendly,...
I booked to camp here on the second night of a three day cycle tour of mid-Wales. It is situated just off NCN Route 81, a little before the level crossing outside the village of Caersws. Its a fairly spacious, flat site accommodating both caravans and tents and is set in beautiful countryside. The toilets and showers were in separate portacabins and were kept very clean with constant hot water. I can definitely recommend a visit to this site.
The pitches are a really good size...
We spent the Spring Bank Holiday here. The pitches are a really good size and the site is neat and tidy with well mown grass. Showers were hot, free and not the push button type! Only one each for ladies and gents but never had to queue as this is a small site - there were only nine units on while we were there. This is a very quiet site with lovely views - probably more suited to adults as no play area and ball games are not allowed. We would definitely use this site again.
